The table below lists the Round 3 Rebate Lighting Measures. Additional eligibility requirements appear below the table.
For multifamily housing, only lighting measures that are funded by the common on systems with commercial electric accounts will be eligible for rebates.
Installation of qualifying measures must be completed after January 1, 2012 and before December 31, 2012.

Fluorescent T8 Fixture Retrofits
Rebates are based on one-for-one replacement of fluorescent T12 lamps controlled by magnetic ballasts or electronic or incandescent fixtures. The new fixtures must include high efficiency electronic ballasts.
In order to qualify for fluorescent 4-foot T8 measures, the associated lamps and ballasts must appear on the Consortium of Energy Efficiency’s listing of qualified products.
All fluorescent lamps must be 800 Series or above.
The length identified in the individual measures refers to the effective length of the fixture, not the length of the lamps. The number of lamps refers to the number of the lamps that appear in the cross section of the fixture.
LEDs
- LED lamps and interior luminaires must be Energy Star Qualified.
- All other LED fixtures and lighting must be either Energy Star Qualified or DesignLights Consortium Qualified.
LED Luminaires
Luminaires must be commercial rated
Parking Garage Lighting
Total lighting energy use must not exceed 0.18 watts per square foot.
Delamping
Rebates are based on the permanent removal of the equivalent of at least one 4’ (T12, T12HO or T8) lamp from an existing 8’ or 4’ fixture as a result of a retrofit. Rebate amount is per fixture. In order to qualify, the fixture must be retrofitted such that the existing ballast(s) must be disconnected and removed, a new lamp-quantity appropriate high efficiency electronic ballast is installed, and the sockets for the eliminated lamps are removed. In addition, the customer may not remove more than 50% of the existing lamp quantity (e.g., replacing a 3-lamp system with a 1-lamp system is not allowed).
In order to qualify for fluorescent 4-foot T8 measures, the associated lamps and ballasts must appear on the Consortium of Energy Efficiency’s listing of qualified products.
All fluorescent lamps must be 800 Series or above.
The T12 to T8 delamping rebate cannot be combined with the T8 retrofit rebate.
Reflector Kits
Reflector kits must be installed in conjunction with delamping or installation of lower wattage lamps (e.g., 32 Watt lamps to 28 Watt lamps).
Reflector must have a reflectivity value equal to or greater than 90% and match the new number of new fluorescent lamps.
